Teaching is a wonderful opportunity to enrich your life, and make a difference in the lives of others. A certified yoga instructor can use this time as a career springboard.

Body focused types of yoga include bikram yoga, ashtanga yoga, Iyengar yoga and vinyasa yoga. Yoga practice makes a tremendous difference in the quality of our student's lives because students feel empowerment. Yoga certification guidelines are in place so that instructors don't unwittingly produce injuries to their students.

Start your yoga with a firm determination to see it through. Students should understand that some forms of daily low level stress are unavoidable, and make them stronger because of the experience, but extreme stress can cause panic attacks, heart attacks, or premature death. More quickly than you think, you will begin to extend your arms, legs, torso, and neck far beyond your expectations.

The teacher will guide students through a series of poses, changing them in rhythm with the breath. In yoga you breathe in and out through your nose in order to allow yourself to breathe more deeply. Many athletes use almost all of their free time practicing for their sport.
